Sinterklaas, Piet and Ozosnel finger puppets
It is almost time for Saint Nicholas or as he is called in the Netherlands Sinterklaas. Upcoming Saturday, the 13th of November 2021, he will arrive in the Netherlands with his Pieten and Ozosnel. These finger puppets are a great gift in case you would like to crochet a small gift for in the shoe. The pattern is easy to follow with all the pictures of the pattern. But take into account there are lot of small crocheted details in the pattern that can be tricky for a beginnner. The pattern is only available in Dutch and can be bought in my etsyshop.
For a long time I had these wobbly eyes in my storage and I was still searching for a fun project to use them. With these new finger puppets I had to try them out and they give a new cuteness level to the fingerpuppets.

Materials:
- Crochet needle 2,5mm
- 2 Safety eyes with moving eyes, 12 mm, per finger puppet
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers, I always use a rest piece of yarn that I place in between the stitch.
- Stuffing for the body
- Buy yarn that can be crocheted with a crochet needle of 2,5mm, see amounts below. I use either Katia Capri or Yarn & Colors Must-Have
Sinterklaas
- Skin color - 5 gram
- White - 10 gram
- Red - 7 gram
- Gold - 5 gram - I have used for gold Yarn & Colors Glamour
Piet
- Skin color - 5 gram
- Hair color - 10 gram
- 1st bright color - 10 gram
- 2nd bright color - 10 gram
- White - 5 gram

Ozosnel
- White - 10 gram
- Beige - 5 gram
- Red - 3 gram
