The Painter Bunny
The painter is my first bunny in the set of the painting exhibition. I cannot make beautiful paintings without its painter. A barret is placed over one ear, he wears a white jacket and has a red scarf. With these elements he is able to paint the most beautiful pictures like a ‘Mondriaan’, ‘The girl with the pearl earring’, 'The Night Watch', 'The Scream' or many other famous paintings of Dutch masters.
The pattern contains all the accessories a typical painter. The accessories are easy to crochet with use of all the tutorials described in the pattern. For the barret you have to know how to crochet chains, single crochet stitches and crochet in rounds. The scarf and jacket are crocheted in rows with half double crochet stitchets.
The bunny is small in size, 19 cm in height and 8 cm in width, but it can accomplish big dreams when painting more bunnies for the exhibition.

Materials:
- Crochet needle 2,5mm
- Buy yarn that can be crocheted with a crochet needle of 2,5mm. I always use Katia Capri or Yarn & colors Must-Have. Use yarn in the following colors: Sand (30gr), Dark blue (10gr), White (20gr), Red (5gr), Mocca(10gr) and Yellow (5gr).
- 2 Safety eyes oval shape 8,5 x 6 mm
- Pompon maker for 2,5 cm pompons
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers, you can also use a rest piece of yarn that you place in between the stitch.
- Stuffing for the body
