Bunny with a pearl earring

The girl with a pearl earring was my next and third painting on my to do list that I wanted to crochet for my bunny painting exhibition. This is the most famous painting of Johannes Vermeer. The painting is mysterious and you do not see the complete outfit, thus it is a bit a guess what kind of dress she is wearing. I know that she is wearing an exotic dress, but what kind of dress is not clear. I have made my own interpretation of the complete dress. The large pearl on her turban could not be missed to recreate this iconic painting.

The original painting is exhibited in the Mauritshuis.
